Euronews announced that during the investigation into the case of possible “corruption in holding the World Cup in Qatar”, “Eva Kylie”, the vice president of the European Parliament and a Greek politician, was arrested in Belgium on Friday evening.
It is said that the Greek Socialist Party “Pasok” immediately expelled Kylie from the party after this news was published.
In connection with this case, 4 Italian citizens have also been arrested and the offices of several other members of the European Parliament have been closed.
