Drake, the rap sensation and Grammy Award winner, has revealed his newest plan for fans. The October World Weekend concert series will feature performances by some of today’s biggest recording artists.
The three-day event will occur on July 28, 29 and August 1st, with different venues in Toronto being used each day for their respective shows featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, and an act called “All Canadian North Stars.”
Tickets for this event will be available starting Friday.
October World Weekend is just one of many events on this year’s Road to OVO Fest tour.

In an Instagram post, Drake also elaborated on what it signifies: “I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary, but of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come.”
Drake dropped his album inspired by house, Honestly, Nevermind, last month, only hours following its announcement. It marks his 11th album to secure the top 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album charts, becoming the fifth musician to drop over 10 No. 1 albums.
Following the release of his new track, Drake dropped a music video for “Falling Back.” In addition, Drake performed “I Want It That Way” just last week with the Backstreet Boys in Toronto.
